Elena is one week and one day old today. Yes, we are all pretty tired as we adjust to a different routine with late night feedings and diaper changes.

We want to announce that Elena Marie McCauley was born today July 23rd at 12:21.
At the time of birth she weighed 7 lbs 12 oz and was 19 inches long.

Baby and Mama are tired but doing well.

On the Fourth of July, we roasted marshmallows over the grill in the back yard. We were all excited and had everything set; the big marshmallows, a packet of Hershey’s bars and box and a half of graham crackers.

Saturday, Christy, Kati and myself went on the maternity ward tour of the St. Cloud hospital where we will be having the baby.  After making the necessary changes with our doctors, insurance and hospital from Thief River Falls to St. Cloud MN we are feeling good.  We were really impressed with the facilities.
