December Pictures
Here are a few pictures of our December. Even though we were sick much of it we were able to continue a few family traditions. Kati really wanted an “American” yellow school bus for her birthday cake this year. Children just take the public bus to get to school. She found a design she wanted, Christy baked it and Kati decorated it all by herself.
Every year we decorate a gingerbread house together as a family. This year our first attempt didn’t work out. But we found one that did work! Lots of fun and sugar was had by all. Finally here are a few pictures of our tree.

I want to share about my thoughts. I am trying to find a good venue, other than our family blog, to share more about what I am thinking about. I am pursuing am EdD. in Education and am invovled in many areas that are providing alot of input. I am realizing that I need a way to process and possible interact with others on my intial reactions to new ideas or problems in general. I am eager to find an easy way to do this and at the same time an easy way for others to track, follow and comment.
Our Vienna Scenic View from our Window
The outside of our apartment building is being renovated. We are excited about this because our bedroom gets pretty cold in the winter and they are adding insulation. This building is over a hundred years old. Here is a glimpse from our hallway window. We are amazed at how they are doing this and how fast they are doing it. Here is a short video to show you what we see.
Detective Week 2011
This week some of our friends from Newfolden Minnesota are helping put on an English camp here in Vienna. Here is a short video to show some of the highlights so far.
